Biography

Richard Beddard has been editor of the investment website, Interactive Investor, since 1999. In December 2003 he launched a 'Financial Big Read' which aimed to find out from Interactive Investors' users which is the most popular investment book of all time. To kick-start the research, he gave his own list of favourites and the reasons why he liked them, which we reprint below - updated for 2005.
