Biography

Robert Peston, the City Editor of the Sunday Telegraph, is an award-winning journalist, with 20 years experience in national and international publications.
He took charge of the Sunday Telegraphs Business and Money sections in April 2002. Prior to that, he spent two years as Editorial Director of Quest, the online financial service owned by Collins Stewart. At the same time, he was a columnist for the Sunday Times, New Statesman and Management Today and was an Associate Editor of the Spectator magazine.
1999 to 2000: Financial Editor of the Financial Times and member of its editorial board
1995 to 1999: Political editor, Financial Times
1993-1995: Head of special reports department, Financial Times. He set up and managed this investigative reporting team.

Robert Peston is married to the writer and film maker Sian Busby. They have two children, Simon and Maximilian. His interests include ballet and politics.
