Thomas Schneeweis
Professor Thomas Schneeweis is Professor of Finance at the School of Management at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, Massachusetts and Director of the Center for International Securities and Derivatives Markets at the School of Management (CISDM/SOM). He is also President of Schneeweis Partners, LLC, established in 1982, which specialises in analytical support in the areas of multi-advisor fund creation, asset allocation, and risk management services.
He is editor of the quarterly Institutional Investor publication, The Journal of Alternative Investments, is on the Board of the Managed Funds Association and is head of the educational committee of the Alternative Investment Management Association. He is a frequent speaker at academic and industry events dealing with the area of alternative investments and has been quoted frequently in the financial press (Financial Times, Business Week, Wall Street Journal, etc.).
