Biography

Thomas Stridsman currently works as the senior editor for Active Trader magazine, a magazine devoted to helping the short-term trader on the American stock market. Between 1997 and 1999 he was employed by Futures magazine as an associate editor, specializing in articles pertaining to technical analysis, rule based trading, and advanced money management techniques. While at Futures he also appeared as a speaker at industry seminars and conferences. Before moving to Chicago in 1997, Thomas operated his own web-based advisory service in Sweden, appeared regularly in several Swedish financial dailies and financial magazines, commenting on the recent market activity, and making popular and widely followed technical analysis and intermarket based forecasts on the future market action. He also was the chair for the Swedish Technical Analysis Federation. Thomas holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Uppsala university, Sweden, and a pre-college degree in electro engineering.
