Biography
Moorad Choudhry is a vice-president with JPMorgan Chase in London. From university he joined the London Stock Exchange in 1989, before moving to ABN Amro Hoare Govett Sterling Bonds Limited, where he worked as a gilt-edged market maker. From there he joined Hambros Bank Limited, where he set up and ran the Treasury division's sterling proprietary desk.
He was a financial sector management consultant before joining JPMorgan Chase structured finance in March 2000.
Moorad has an MA in Econometrics from Reading University and an MBA from Henley Management College. He has lectured on the bond markets at International Faculty of Finance and City University Business School, and is a Fellow of the Securities Institute. Moorad was born in Bangladesh and lives in Surrey, England.
