Biography
Joe Ross has been trading for more than 47 years, and is a well known Master Trader. He has survived all the up and downs of the markets because of his adaptable trading style, using a low-risk approach that produces consistent profits. He is one of the most eclectic traders in the business. His trading years include position trading of shares, and futures. He daytrades stock indices, currencies, and forex. He trades futures spreads and options on futures, and has written books about it all - twelve to be exact, all of them have become classics and have been translated into many different languages.
He was a private trader for most of his life, but a serious health situation in the mid 80's caused him shift his focus and he decided to share his knowledge. After his recovery, he founded Trading Educators in 1988 to teach aspiring traders how to make profits using his trading approach.
Joe still tutors, teaches, writes, and trades regularly. Joe is still an active and integral part of Trading Educators. He is the primary author of the company's newsletters "Traders Notebook" and the free weekly newsletters "Chart Scan™" and "Spread Scan™" as well as the host of the free Tuesday Chat.
